The advent of Galicija on Šentjungert

Access to the starting point:
The motorway Ljubljana – Maribor is focusing on exports Žalec (Arja vas), and then continued driving towards Velenje. On the main road, Velenje drives to the site of the United Pirešica, where you turn right onto the road towards the village Pernovo and Galicija. Road, which continues towards the west slightly forward transient rises, then descends into the valley of the Podsevčnica. Here, the road starts to turn increasingly to the left and we follow it to a small crossroads at which we see mountain tags for Dom on Šentjungert. At baseline no parking places, so we have to park a bit earlier at a suitable location along the road.

Itinerary:
From the crossroads at which we see the mountain directional board for The Lodge at Šentjungertu, continue along a narrow street right in the mentioned direction. The road first climbs gently through meadows, then it becomes somewhat steeper and leads us past a few houses. On the lower intersection of the chapel go left, then follow the road almost to its end. Shortly before the end of the road continue straight into the woods (at the place where we leave the road, but this turns to the right, then ends in a nearby residential house) on the marked footpath, which passes through the forest. The trail continues along a forest path, which is sometimes steep climbs. After about 30 minutes walk from the baseline, leave the forest path, because to get to the paved road, which we follow to the left. Below is a moderate climb a steep road you are in a good 10 minutes walking to arrive home on Šentjungertu and a few meters higher still in the church of St. Kunigunda.
